Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru and a mixed martial arts athlete fighting for the UFC in the Flyweight Division is currently a Kyrgyzstani. Valentina is her younger sister and a fellow UFC participant. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as an Muay Thai boxer. She made her debut in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won the event and beat Suzane Milliner in a unanimous vote. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded an additional medal in the year 2007, a bronze in 2008, and a gold in 2011, and then was named in the position of IFMA Amateur World MuayThai Champion in the year 2016. Antonia began her professional career in 2003 and took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina's last fight was in the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She won by a unanimity. Antonina Schevchenko began her professional MMA professional career back in the year 2002 after the victory over Anara Baanova at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She won via second-round TKO, and then won 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to earn a 3-0 record. Shevchenko took a break from MMA to focus on kickboxing. She came back in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko won Anissa Haddaoui with the unanimous verdict. She was then able to defeat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4, in the same decision. The promotion ended in 2018 to join Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko was able to take on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina demonstrated her striking prowess by TKOing Nievera with knees. Antonina was offered a UFC invitation following her win. Antonina received a UFC contract following her victory. Shevchenko won the unanimous decision, but was defeated in her next fight by Roxanne Modafferi in an undisputed split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from her loss by prevailing Lucie Prudilova at UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler by submitting a rear naked choke. It was the top fight of the night for that bout. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 in her three subsequent matches which included a win over Ariane Lipski and falling to Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina is currently being lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
